Pre-purchase report
The pre-purchase survey has the purpose of evaluating the condition of the boat in its entirety, i.e. hull, systems, engine, sail rig, if any, equipment and accessories.
This type of survey is carried out with the boat on land, for the verification of the hull and appendages, and in the water, for the dynamic tests of the systems.
If the boat is sailing, I never miss a masthead climb to check the condition of the mast and rigging.
If the boat has a motor or several engines, it is my habit to collaborate with leading mechanical workshops in the sector.
At the end of the technical tests I issue a report as detailed as possible to allow the buyer to know his boat right away.
